This Privacy Policy explains how Optic Media Pvt. Ltd. ("Optic Media", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit our website at opticmedia.com.np or use any of our mobile applications (together, the "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If an individual app has additional or different privacy practices, they will be described in that app's own privacy notice and in its Google Play listing, and those details apply in addition to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you contact us by email or through an app's support option, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically

• Website: Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the date and time of the visit. We use this only to keep the site secure and working properly.
• Apps: Depending on the app, we may collect limited technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, crash reports and anonymous usage statistics, to fix bugs and improve the app.

Device permissions

Some apps may ask for permissions (for example, microphone, camera, storage or notifications) only when a feature needs them. You can allow or deny permissions at any time in your device settings. Where an app processes data such as audio or images, we explain in that app how the data is used, and whether it stays on your device.

2. How we use information

• To provide, operate and maintain our Services;
• To respond to your messages and support requests;
• To diagnose problems, fix bugs and improve performance;
• To understand, in aggregate, how our Services are used so we can improve them;
• To protect the security of our Services and prevent misuse;

We do not sell your personal information.

Our apps are distributed through Google Play and may use third-party services provided by Google or others, for example for analytics, crash reporting or advertising. These providers may collect information under their own privacy policies. Any such services used by a particular app are disclosed in that app's Google Play "Data safety" section. AI features

Some of our apps may include AI-powered features. Where a feature sends your input (such as text, audio or images) to an AI service provider for processing, we will tell you in the app, use the data only to provide that feature, and not use it for any other purpose without your consent.

We share information only in these limited cases:

• With service providers who help us operate our Services, under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
• When required by law, regulation, legal process or a government request;
• To protect the rights, property or safety of Optic Media, our users or the public;
• In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case users will be notified.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request and maintain reasonable records.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) where supported. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it. If any of our apps are designed for children, they will follow Google Play's Families Policy and applicable law.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. You can also:

• Change or revoke app permissions in your device settings;
• Uninstall an app at any time to stop further collection by that app;
• Request deletion of any account or data associated with an app by emailing us from the address linked to it.

We will respond to requests within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.

9. International users

Optic Media is based in Nepal. Our service providers may process information in other countries. By using our Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on our website or in our apps.
